Automatically generated or Auto-Generated content is content that’s been created with the help of machine learning and artificial intelligence tools. This is the simple definition of automatically written content and Google has a problem with this kind of information.

In today’s context, this simply means Google has a problem with AI-generated content.

Till now, I haven’t received any reply from John Mu or Google. Waiting for their response on this.

But in the latest Google SEO office-hours episode from April 1, 2022. John explained Google’s position on AI content.

Briefly, John said AI-generated content falls under the Automatically-generated category and that the reason is against Google guidelines. For Google, if you use machine-learning tools to automatically generate content then it will consider webspam.

The catch will be how Google will identify between human and AI written content where John said I can’t claim that but if Google identifies something automatically generated on your website, then the Google webspam team can definitely take action against your website.
